A lovely antique Chinese exceptional ‘Master of the Rocks’ saucer with a central decoration of high rocks, gorges, a building and trees in a mountainous landscape, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of geometrical circle patterns, pine needles and blurry dots. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1690). On the backside a decoration of stylized bamboo and the Mei Yu Ya Zhi mark. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
Diameter: 10,1 centimeter.
Condition: The object is in very good condition, small baking imperfections, one tiny shallow flake off the backside, without any hairlines or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
