Original woodblock print, Published by Unsodo - Okada Koichi (1907-?) - "Hagoromo kaigan no Fuji" 羽衣海岸の富士 (Mount Fuji from Hagoromo) - Japan - Heisei period (1989-2019)
Okada Koichi was a contemporary of Hasui, and is best known for his striking images of Mount Fuji from circa the 1950s, named "Twelve Views of Japan". He published at Unsodo in Kyoto. These beautiful shin-hanga designs show the sacred mountain in the different seasons. His works are amazing pieces to collect and display.
First edition: circa 1950s. This is a later edition, printed from the original woodblocks.
