Fascinating candelabra system from Nagel with unlimited possible variations!
Architect Werner Stoff designed this candleholder for his friend Hans Nagel (designer) in the 1960s.
Nagel got the idea after tumbling into the snow on a skiing holiday, where one of his hands made an 3 finger-shape in the snow.
After their subsequent conversation and the design that was produced using fabric, the candleholder that emerged enjoyed great success at that time, as it does today, and has become a design icon that reflects the facets of the time!
The design world freed itself from its constraints, people stepped on the moon for the first time and the sexual revolution awoke!
