Japanese samurai sword Katana Moriyuki NBTHK Hozon Token
This is an authentic Samurai sword as you would like to see them, very special.
The katana is signed Bushu Ju Fujiwara Moriyuki and has the NBTHK Hozon Token
These papers were issued for this sword on 02-06-2020.
Moriyuki was a swordsmith in Bungo province and worked and lived in the village of Takada
and Chozaemon was his nickname, his works date from the Kanbun period, 1661-1674.
His nickname had a reason: the Samurai called him that due to the quality of his swords Jyo jyo Saku
very strong and extremely deadly and with a perfect balance.
The Hammon is phenomenal, Choji Midare with Notare Hamon and a mix of Choji Midare and Ashi.
The koshirae makes it truly complete, is excellent with a very special red and black design.
The fittings are also beautifully inlaid with shells in gold coloured, beautiful details.
A beautiful openwork iron Tsuba, which is also unique and dates from the Kanbun period.
This is a really beautiful Japanese Samurai sword / Katana. The blade has a stunning polish together with the koshirae,
you have a mighty Samurai sword of the first order, pure and functional.
