This wakizashi was made by Kichisaemon Yoshihiro (yos 109 in Hawley).
He was active from around 1620 to 1670.
He was a student of shōdai Tadayoshi and had the title 伊勢大掾 Ise Daijō.
He had the proper names 吉左衛門 Kichisaemon and 掾左衛門 Yosaemon
Just like sandai and shichidai Tadayoshi he also used the kanji 國 for kuni in his mei.
He is counted among the jō saku class of bladesmiths.
His swords are considered to be ryō wazamono.
