Ancient Bow of a Burmese Waggon, it used to be placed between two oxen, to separate these, but is first and foremost a decorative object. You can find two recent pictures taken in Bagan, where this type of object is still used to ornament waggons used by tourists.
It represents a dragon, a mythical animal, symbol of protection.
This is a lovely carving work, in very hard and very dense wood.
74 cm long by 58 cm high, without the stand, 70 cm high including the stand; beautiful and very decorative object.
Sold with a custom-made stand in steel.
Good overall condition, but it presents traces due to its age and use (have a look at the pictures).
It will be carefully packaged and sent by insured mail with track & trace, via Bpost.
