Crispijn van den Broecke was a painter and etcher, born in Mechelen. Around 1550 he became a pupil of Frans Floris in Antwerp, with whom he worked to 1570. From 1570s designed prints for Plantin, and later for Gerard de Jode.
Condition: Very nice early impression on laid paper. Wide margins. Small tear in the right margin, not affecting the image.
First state (of 3), without the numbering.
