Original engraving made by Marcantonio Raimondi (1480-1534) ca 1505-1515, at a young age.
Made in the lifetime of Albrecht Dürer.
He was an Italian engraver; a pupil of Francesco Francia.
In Venice he made his famous copies after Dürer, for which Durer famously bought legal proceedings against him in 1506. He worked also with Raphael in Rome.
