1. Iron cross second class 1914-1918; German original medal of maker "KO" - WW1. In the years until 1918, the Iron Cross was a military decoration.
2. The honour cross for the world war (German: Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges, Ehrenkreuz für Frontkämpfer of Frontkämpferehrenkreuz named) was a German award. The last bearers of this cross that was awarded to the veterans of the first world war are now deceased. The cross was implemented on July 13, 1934 by the German National president field marshal Paul von Hindenburg. The occasion was the 20th anniversary of the outbreak of what was then called the "Great War", later known as World War I. The first crosses were awarded in the name of National President of Hindenburg. After his death, Adolf Hitler became chancellor as well as German head of State; the awards were now implemented im Names des Führers und Reichskanzlers.
The Cross of Honour for Front fighters in the World War is decorated with a laurel wreath. Within are the dates 1914 and 1918 and the cross is decorated with two diagonally crossed swords.
3.Feldspange. Soldiers wore their cross of honour to a Prussian-style ribbon on the left breast. On less formal occasions they wore a feldspange, a row of square batons. Those who possessed an Honorary Cross for Front fighters applied two small crossed silver swords to the ribbon.
