Earlom made a set of prints after Claude's Liber Veritatis while it was in the collection of the Dukes of Devonshire at Chatsworth. The Earlom set was engraved between 1774 and 1777, published by Boydell in two volumes in 1777,
Earlom Richard (London 1743 - London 1822)
English engraver. He was considered one of the most skilled engravers of his time and made a large number of works,. His most admired work is a series of prints (in etching combined with mezzotint) taken from drawings that Claude Lorrain collected in his Liber Veritatis, published by Boydell in two volumes in 1777.
