The Netherlands - coin set '400 years VOC' made of ship's timber
Beautiful (old-looking) case with a sterling silver (925/1000) commemorative medal, in commemoration of the founding of the VOC (Dutch East India Company).
Designed by Jacob Vis.
Issued by the Royal Dutch Mint.
There is a specification of the contents on the inside of the case, in gold print.
Added are five original VOC Duiten from various provinces.
All coins are safely stored in capsules.
