The Mossi weave cotton, it consists in a seasonal activity, practised during the dry season, supplementing the agricultural work during the rainy period.
The female weaver works seated on a stool.
The bar of the breast beam lays on the hips.
Feminine looms allow pregnant women at near term to weave. Regarding the weaving, strictly speaking, this machine produces widest bands - between 30 and 40 centimetres wide - than those of masculine looms.
We can sometimes note traces of wear, some partially unstitched bands, dyes which slightly faded off over the years.
The pictures are part of the description.
