Well-carved wooden male figure, carved in the typical Lobi-style. Nice brown patina. Delicately carved face, which is slightly turned away, which gives the figure a dynamic apperance. These figures were placed on family altars to facititate the communication with the ancestors.
Collected in the city of Bobo-Dioulasso in the 1990's.
