Saint Clement, period Gallé: large jardinière, centrepiece in fine earthenware with petit feu floral decoration, very finely crafted, Gallé decoration typical of this period.
Our jardinière has an EG signature (Emile Gallé). It is probably a pre-1892 production, when the Saint Clément factory was taken over by its former parent company, the Lunéville Keller and Guerin factory.
Very nice piece for savvy collector, very fresh colours. Superb. Unfortunately a piece which has been restored (well done restoration but that you will find it when you look for it).
