A hefty bronze mantel clock, patinated.
Movement GB, Gustav Becker, stamped and a stamp medal d’or.
Perfect movement.
The striking mechanism works as it should.
With a winding key.
A clock that in terms of metal and appearance is typically Art Nouveau, see the ladies on either side.
At the back the patina is brushed away at the bottom, presumably because somebody wanted to check if it is really bronze, here and there you can see a very small tip where the patina has worn off and you can see that it is bronze.
A very distinct clock, nice dial and good movement.
