A nice antique Chinese rare porcelain ‘Klapmuts’ bowl with a central decoration of sprays of peonies and lilies, surrounded by grasses, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white with overglaze red and gold. In the border a classical decoration of geometrical and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1700). On the backside a decoration or mark of stylized blossoms. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.
These bowls are hardly seen with their lids, this one comes with the original lid (which is undamaged!).
Diameter: 15,8 centimeter.
Condition: The object is in very good condition, the lid with two mouse bites and hairlines, one flea bite, without any hairlines or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
