Hand knotted around 1975 by a tribal nomadic knotter of the Baluch people from the Afghan part of Baluchistan in the border area of the countries Iran, Afghanistan and Pakistan
The carpet is in very good, original (new) condition with a full pile made of soft wool
Original edges complete and in very good condition
Both ends complete with the original fixed kilim finish
Top has a strip with suspension rings at the back
Traditional "mihrabi" design in softly contrasting "earth" tones
Very supple texture
No restorations
The rug was cleaned and is ready to be used
