Beautiful edition bound in full tawny leather. Spine with four double bands, gilt topstain. In a double casing including a small volume in full cream parchment, reproducing the 1533 Galiot du Pré edition- 144 and 115 pp.
Edition adorned with 24 compositions in colour protected under tissue, by Yves Brayer.
Copy on vellum rag paper by Renage, numbered 234/5000 copies.
Very nice edition in good condition. Both volumes are clean inside and the covers are nicely preserved even if there are small marks on both volumes. Only the slipcase is fair- See photos.
