For the first time in Ardbeg's history, barrels of wine once used for pinot noir were shipped from New Zealand - the most remote island nation of Islay - and used to age whiskey. The result is a smoked whiskey with notes of sour cherry and black forest fruits. A combination that enhances Ardbeg's already deep and multi-layered style.
