Kabuto - metallo - Samurai - Important and heavy, black lacquered (kuro’urushinuri) 32 plate sujikabuto-helmet, - Giappone - Periodo Edo (1600-1868)

Important and heavy thirty-two plate sujikabuto-helmet, black lacquered (kuro’urushinuri) with small fukikaeshi and four neckguards (shikoro) with dark blue cords. In front of the helmet is a large pair of connected kuwagata-antlers and between the antlers a round maedate with a cut-out moon (mamukitsuki mon). In good original condition with signs of wear and age. Exceptional bronze elegantly shaped rim, encircling the helmet. .
