Each with printed signature and title as well as hand-written numbering on the underside.
Manufactured by Acienne Manufacture Royale, Limoges (with printed seal), issued by Artes Magnus, New York (with printed seal).
Condition: very good condition.
The service consists of the following pieces:
6 cake plates (each 21.5 cm diameter), 6 cups with saucers, 1 pot with lid (20 cm high), 1 sugar bowl with lid and 1 cream jug (11 cm high).
In 3 original cardboard boxes stuffed with fabric.
Biography
US-American photographer Cindy Sherman graduated from State University College of Buffalo, New York in 1976. In her meticulously arranged pieces, she sets herself apart from female stereotypes and creates her own stage. She lives and works in New York City.
