Great Antique nihonto blade from first Edo era signed Etchu No Kami Fujiwara Kanekuni 越中守藤原包國 in second world war Gunto koshirae with original HOZON paper from the NBTHK.
Very clear and beautiful Hammon with a profesional polish on it. You can see perfectly the tamahagane steel, hada grains and forging patterns, the tamahagane waves are beautiful and perfect. Take a special appraisal at the old blade form Edo period. Probably the blade was property of an ancient family and the koshirae was changed for a gunto army koshirae when a son of the family was called to engage for the second world war. According to the size of the blade and the Koshirae probably was a Tank or airplane pilot. More even, almost all the pieces of the koshirae are signed by the soldier imself with something similar to a knife. A really cool piece of japanese history cause was a piece of samuriais and from second world war too, This added to the fact that it has the Hozon paper and a paper cut of a nihonto book toko taigan that proofs a 2 million yen at the blade ranking adds an extra value to the piece.

Blade is in very good condition. Not hagire, no nicks, and not fatal damage, of course. This is a blade with hundreds years, and handforged. Please see the close-up pictures for amazing details.

All my swords are originals, imported from japan during many years of collection. Hand forged samurai blades are registered in the Agency for Cultural Affairs as artwork and The Board of Education (Cultural properties protection Committee); therefore each sword has the registration card, issued by the Board of Education. Original must be keeped in Japan by law.
I send a Copy of the papers included.
