Description
Bas-relief sculpture, shutter of a window, depicting the Burmese mythological birds
Kinnara and Kinaree. From a Burmese monastery in the Nga Phe region.
Chaung - Shan State.
Datation:
Late 17th Century at the beginning of the 18th Century (72.5%) - C. 1700
confirmed by a scientific analysis carried out by the Ciram laboratory attached in photos.

Material:
Teck dahat ( Tectona Hamiltoniana).
Condition:
Relatively well preserved global condition.
Part of the upper left panel is missing.
Overall wear due to the age of the item and the external exposure to the climate of
monsoon.
No visible restoration.
