Light flintlock pistol of the British dragoons, new model made after 1800 under the reign of George III (1760-1820)
Military pistol used by the British cavalry during the Napoleonic wars.
Lock clearly marked with the year 1818 and a lion; the lion indicates that the pistol was owned by the famous British EIC (East India Company).
Bolt with very well-marked punches.
Well-marked trigger guard of the 17th Light Dragoon Regiment.
All brass fittings.
Metal parts: no oxidation, very good inside of the barrel.
Mechanism in very good condition, complete and functional without any play, very firm springs.
Walnut wood, in reasonable condition, but with some small repairs (old damage).
