Double-barrelled hunting rifle, round barrels, damasked, marked with gold on the band: "F P Devisme, Patented in Paris".
Front locks and fittings in iron, cut out and engraved with foliate scrollwork.
The locks are marked "Drivière" and "A Passy”.
Butt in partly gridded walnut wood.
Whalebone rod with brass end cap.

Collective factory and workshop founded in 1834. Numerous patents of French and Belgian invention from 1854 to 1860 on revolvers, bandolier, walking-stick gun.
Mechanism in perfect condition, complete and functional without any play, very firm springs.
Round, smooth double barrels, barrel interior very clean.
Wood in good condition with some handling marks.
The rifle looks beautiful.
