A lovely antique Chinese porcelain brush pot biting with a central decoration of peonies, bamboo besides pierced rocks four birds chasing three insects in a landscape, executed in a nice underglaze blue and white. I. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, possibly Kangxi period. On the bottom a six character mark Da Ming ChengHua Nian Zhi. Guaranteed original and of the stated period.

Condition: The object is in very good condition, small flakes from the rim, baking imperfection on the foot rim, without any hairlines or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
