Anonymous - Swedish travel poster: The Prophet, Elijah being taken to heaven - 1961

Here is a very, very rare and beautiful Swedish travel agency poster from 1961. The poster depicts the prophet Elijah taken to heaven in a chariot. and is taken from decorative panel, peasant art from the province of Darla. The poster measures approx' 99.8 cm x 62 cm and is in very good condition especially when you consider that it is almost sixty years old. Every now and then I come across a poster that I find difficult to part with, this is one of them. This will look so amazing when properly framed and prominently displayed.
