The handle is particularly beautiful in shape and is decorated with an angel's face.
This one is adorned with a beautiful detailed image of a farmer on clogs with a yoke on his neck.
The letter opener is beautifully hallmarked with Dutch hallmarks and marked with silver hallmarks:
Fineness mark Lion.
Assay office mark Minerva head with the letter M for Schoonhoven.
Year letter H of 1942
Maker’s mark AL.
It is a sizable letter opener with a length of 15.5 cm.
The weight is 19.5 grams.
