In this print, a crane is diving steeply with its wings outspread on the upper section. Its plumage and long bill are depicted in fine detail, with embossed lines. Another crane stands in the shallow water in the foreground. The villages in the title were areas known for 'crane hunting' with falcons by the shogun. In order to attract the cranes, food was left out for them. On the right is a straw-covered feeding station and a feeder is walking farther to the left.
