A beautiful view of a summer evening on the Sumida River. Moonlight is reflected on the water where we see the silhouette of a beauty about to board a craft. The silvery moon is partially seen through a frond of a willow tree. The view on the opposite bank forms a contrast to the illuminated water. . Good strong overall tone and a first edition copy. There is a light contrast on right hand side of just over half a centimetre but otherwise not effected. The print would be a charming addition to a private collection.
