Four (4) original woodblock printed books - Kawamura Bunpo (1779-1821) - "Teito gakei ichiran" 帝都雅景一覧 (Elegant Views of the Imperial Capital [Kyoto]) volumes 1, 2, 3 and 4, (East, West, South, North) (Complete) - Japan - 1809 and 1816

Teito Gakei Ichiran was published in 2 parts, each 2 volumes.
In 1809 part 1: East and West.
In 1816 part 2: North and South.

Artist: Kawamura Bunpo (or Bumpo) (1779-1821)

Author: Tatsukawa Seikun (vol 1 and 2).
Author: Rai Sanyo (vol 3 and 4).

This is the black and white edition, as mentioned in various sources (see below), on chinese paper, with all seals, in very good condition.

Published by Seihodo (Kyoto), exact publication date unknown.

On a thin Japanese toshi-paper, bound Japanese style.
Some pages are delicately tinted with some ink, see pictures.
Some very small worm-damage lower part inner-spine to vol 1, 2 and 4.

Size of each book: 16.7x 27.5x .5cm.
