JEAN DUMOULIN'S TRAVEL DIARY

Nats are omnipresent in Burma, they are found near pagodas and temples, where they are venerated, just like Buddha. They are thus present at the Shwedagon Pagoda, in Rangoon, which is nevertheless one of the most sacred places in Buddhism.
