A magnificent antique Chinese porcelain plate with a central decoration of two men and two women in a scholar’s pavilion in a landscape, executed in an excellent underglaze blue and white. In the border a classical decoration of eight buddhist treasures, eight holy trigrams Bagua, geometrical and floral patterns. Handcrafted in ancient China during the Qing dynasty, Kangxi period (ca. 1690). On the backside a rich decoration as well and the six character mark Da Ming ChengHua Nian Zhi (Imperial mark for the Chenghua emperor). Guaranteed original and of the stated period.

Condition: The object is in very good condition, mouse bites only, without any hairlines or restorations. The condition is carefully checked with strong UV-light and bright translucent white light.
