Nice, heavy (around 3.4kg only the camera) and rare camera for recording? aerial use?..., I don't know.
It's the Shackman & Son. The Research Automatic Camera MKII, for film 35mm (in special cartridges), negative size 24x36mm.
This camera was externally powered at 12V.
The lens is a Dallmeyer 2"mm (50mm) F:3.5 Dalmac and on the rear it has engraved the serial number of the camera.
If you continue to turn the focusing helix, the lens tends to come out of its housing.
It's in exc++ condition, as is possible to see from the pictures, with some signs of use.
It come with its box, 4 film cartridges and a Dallmeyer loupe. Without cables and power supply.
We are unable to test it so, I'm sorry but obviously, no warranty on it. We sell it as a vintage and collectibles item, not for use.
Of this special cameras I knew the smaller ones, for the 24x24 size, it's the first time I have one for format 24x36.
