Fantastic pair of bronze monkey candle sticks. The candlesticks designed as two monkeys upon a leaf with one smaller monkey on the shoulders of the other monkey holding the candle holder up above its head. A beautiful whimsical Japanese bronze pair.
Condition: Fair-Good, some damage to the base of one of the candle sticks to one side the bronze has been damaged at the base (see photos) otherwise rubbing consistent with age. Please note some images may appear with flash, UV lighting, natural daylight and a high powered torch to help obtain a better understanding of the condition of the items.
