Our standing masculine figurine was very likely part of a couple of female/male ancestors.
The figurine has the same enormous head and a big pronounced nose hook, known as “Nimba” - shoulder masks.
We know very little about these figurines, which are so far very little known.

Former private French collection, Lille.

Hard wood type.
Yellow-brown oily patina.
With age-related cracks here and there.
Native restoration on one crack on the right arm and on another one on the left ear.
With fence patterns on the face and on the top crest.
Broken wood fragment on the mouth (over-patinated).
67 iron tapestry nails on the face.
With dust deposits all over the piece.
