William Joseph Carroll was a 19th/ 20th Century British artist. His work is displayed in the National Collection. He specialised in portrait paintings of which the subject was often beautiful women with floral surroundings. An enigmatic character is style is very distinctive and almost immediately recognizable. Carroll's work is highly sought after and has regularly been offered through well established British and American auction houses and research will demonstrate.
