US Army soldiers OD crusher cap with a a beautiful patina, with clear evidence that the early war screwback insignia has always been on there. Lightly worn condition, no faults. The beautiful aspect of this cap that it is named to Corporal R. B. Lush, who was in the 273rd 273 Ordnance Maintenance Anti-Aircraft Company. His name, rank, base and unit is enscribed in the inside of the cap. This unit, was, in fact, present in France during the Normandy landings!
Very nice shape with dark OD wool gabardine crown, green wool omohair band and brown leather visor and chinstraps.
