A very nice antique blown glass Dutch onion mold wine bottle manufactured during the 1700s. With genuine air bubbles in the handblown glass and a perfect rim around the neck. This bottle is in a very good condition with no chips, cracks and no restorations. Only some normal traces of age. Photo 3 shows small chip where the cork has been pushed out
Provenance : Bottle excavated from the Surinam river in the former Dutch colony “ Surinam “ , where slaves were employed on the sugar plantations. For more details see pictures. This bottle stands 18.5 cm. tall and is 14 cm. wide.
