These item was part of a ceremonial costume of a head hunter (meo).
The cloth is made by weft twining from cotton which are terminated by broad fringes and decorated with fine glass beads (3 mm).
The woven pattern is based mainly on diamond motivs in rust red and dark blue on yellow ground.
There are some traces of use on the cloth, but the twining is still undamaged.
Total lengh: 1,50 m / 59 in.
