Hans Bulder (1953) - Edelhert in de ochtend nevel

Hans Bulder 1953. Beautiful painting with a new frame. (Has a minor scratch, see photo.) Hans Bulder was born in Scheveningen in 1953. The family moved from Scheveningen to Apeldoorn. There, in the wild and beautiful nature of the Veluwe, emerged the love for nature. Wanderings that became a search for inspiration and continued to lead to Scotland, England and Germany. From the age of 23, Hans started painting. Self-taught and partly educated by his father. Animals, portraits and still lifes come to life in oil paint on linen and panel. Mostly commissioned. Often touchingly realistic and very detailed. Sometimes surreal or magical-realistic, with loose brush strokes, in the style of his father. Bulder: oil paint is my passion; the exact mixing of the colours. And the right way of applying it. It is in my heart and finds its way to my fingers. Exhibitions: Interest in Bulder's work grew rapidly, both nationally as well as internationally. Exhibitions followed, for example with: Holland & Holland, Londen (UK)Malcolm Innes Gallery, Edinburgh (UK)Rountree Tryon Galleries,Londen (UK) Besides his work as a painter, Hans has also been a highly regarded teacher of painting in oil paint and illustrator of several books for over 22 years. Hans Bulder painted on commission for Prince Bernard, the Sultan of Oman, State secretary Ad Ploeg and Minister Ernst Albrecht von Niedersachsen.
