In the 1950s-1960s, space travel developed rapidly
Inspired by this, the German company HUGER introduced 2 special
models of globe weather stations to the market.
One globe model with antennas and one model with Saturn ring
The Sputnik was produced in chromium or brass
Offered lot is the model in brass with antennas
The acrylic glass sphere is fully rotatable on the base.
The barometer also rotates individually within the sphere.
Air pressure display in inches mercury and millibars.
Barometer can be adjusted to local air pressure.
Undamaged and without cracks in acrylic glass sphere.
The Sputnik is in very good condition.
All the instruments work as is to be expected.
Made in West Germany ca. 1960
