This 'Medieval' atmospheric fireplace by Belling & Co. from Enfield in England is a very popular atmospheric object thanks to its charisma and also definitely because of the warmth that the heater generates. Just as the copy of the old flyer on the photo indicates: "You can't beat a 'BELLING' for warmth, comfort and appearance". The heater has 2 electric ceramic heating elements at the top, each with a capacity of 1,000 Watt, which each have their own switch on the left and right. The lower part contains 2 red light bulbs that spread a warm glow through the logs and the bottom. It has a grounded electrical wire that is covered with an aubergine-coloured fabric. The label indicates 2,000 Watt, 220/230 Volt. This atmospheric fireplace is circa 90 years old and works well. The screws and bolts show rust and the metal reflector underneath the heating elements is slightly warped. This lot can only be shipped within Western Europe.
