Harry van Kuyk (1929 - 2008) was a Dutch graphic artist, artist, graphic designer and publicist.
In 1969 he developed a new technique for graphic art, the relief printing, prints with an extreme relief (up to 20 millimetres) on specially thick rag paper.
He prints coherent series with specific themes: geometry, typography, the golden section.
He was, directly and indirectly, connected with the avantgarde of his time: Nul (Jan Schoonhoven) and zero, geometric abstraction (Ad Dekkers), monochrome, fundamental and minimal art.
His work is hardly represented in private collections, and all the more in museums.
