Painting itself is in excellent condition and painted with acrylic. The frame of wood and linen has some spots and water damage. On the back of the work the sticker of Huis van Dommelen in Antwerp.
Jacqueline (Jaklien) Moerman (Ouwegem, 9 May 1931 – 18 December 2011) was a Belgian illustrator and painter.
She was best known as an illustrator of children's books by author Mariette Vanhalewijn. In addition, she also illustrated greeting cards and calendars, and created paintings. Her drawings were especially popular in Flanders & the Netherlands in the 1970s.
