According to the description, made in the Claudot studios in Dijon, whose mark it is branded with under the heel on the neck "Le Marquis de l'air d'oiseaux Anno" and labelled inside with the same inscription. Seems to be in good condition. A small piece missing on one corner and an abrasion on the back where it rests on the shoulder. Minimal deflection at the junction of the heel (photo 174 and 175). Otherwise, it just has wear from age and use. See photos for the description. Instrument size: 38.5 total (and 35.5 with the case) A case with a key is included as well as an antique bow (I think the end is bone?) that needs new hair. The box is not luxurious but will help to protect the violin during transport.
