Vilmos Huszár - Ontwerpen voor glas in lood
Vilmos Huszár (Budapest 1884 - Hierden 1960) was a Hungarian-Dutch painter, draughtsman, sculptor, art designer, advertising designer and graphic designer. He is best known as a member of the art movement De Stijl.
This piece consists of three numbered designs for stained glass windows in the characteristic De Stijl colours.
The work is dated 15 December 1922. During this period Huszar collaborated with architect Herman van der Kloot-Meyburg.
The gouaches (twice 10.1 x 6 cm, once 6.5 x 16.2 cm) are glued to a piece of cardboard (35.5 x 29 cm).
Was framed (behind glass) by Art Dealer “Gebroeders Koch”. The frame (38 x 32 cm) shows the traces of time, but is inextricably linked to the work.
The work is of course well packaged and sent with PostNL (incl track & trace code). However, it can also be picked up in Amstelveen or Zoetermeer.
