This beautiful vase is made in pure clear crystal by Göran Warff for Kosta Boda in Sweden. Perhaps due to his time as designer spent in Australia, he gave this vase the name of "Sydney". The vase is similar to his Mirage vases in that they too are very heavy and asymmetrical. It has a high point on one side of the top, sloping down significantly from 20 to 15cm. The vase is colorless and filled with tiny bubbles which sparkle dramatically, reminding the viewer of erupting bubbles caused by a giant splash in the water. The Sydney vase is signed on the base Kosta Boda, Göran Warff and number 49806. This rare vase is a must for critical collectors.
