Splendid pair of pastels with frames and all-throughs painted and made by, the artist himself, Francis Goubault, to form a rare work of exception in his technique and design.
Francis Goubault is a popular painter born in 1949.
As soon as he was able to hold a pencil, his father introduced him to the art of drawing.
At the age of six, he took with him the models posing nude in the workshop. As a teenager, he admired the works of Egon Schiele, and Gustave Klimt.
His path was then traced, he decided to devote himself to painting.
Passed by the restoration of old paintings, he opened a workshop in Paris in 1979.
He regularly participates in group exhibitions, both in France and abroad. He exhibits portraits and nudes.
In 1993, the portrait no longer satisfied him, he devoted himself to the study of nudes.
His works feature prominently in private collections, in France, but also in Spain, Canada, Italy and the United States, and especially in England where he regularly stays.
