In contrast to the lap mills usual at that time, which were clamped for sitting while sitting between the legs (in the lap), this is a table mill. Due to the heavy design and the absorbing rubber feet, this mill could be placed on the table for grinding and fixed with little force during coffee grinding.
According to Leinbrock's catalogue of 1939, the price at that time was between 6.90-7.30 Reichsmark, a relatively expensive coffee grinder at the time.
